Brit Floyd Kansas City Concert reviews
Civic Theater is a horrible place to see a concert
Brit Floyd is 5+ and is the most amazing replica of Pink Floyd. They are amazing. But they are picking the wrong venue and the crowd was as bad as it gets for a concert. It was painful to have to sit the whole time or be threatened by domineering men who were suppressing the beauty of channeling the music through dance. They actually were threatening me and others to sit down and not dance. It is a concert and not an Opera. If you have a chance see Brit Floyd for sure but never a concert at this Venue. I saw them before at same Venue and it was the same. I thought sitting closer in orchestra would be better but it was worse and I saw Mraz there and same kind of situation. Accoustics are great but if the crowd and venue suppress the fun then it is not worth going. It was a shame and I was embarrassed as a big fan to Brit and Pink Floyd. And the argument happened during Brick in the Wall. The Irony and the conformity that I experienced during this concert was like being in the right wing twilight zone. No thank you never again to this Venue for a concert. Please Brit Floyd choose a better venue and hopefully the true fans will show up. Trust me it would not be worth going back there and is likely why so many empty seats. Its definitely not the band. They were awesome!
